Having joined Mazuma as a trainee bookkeeper at the start of 2019, Josie has worked her way up to become an accountant, learning the intricacies of the business along the way. She really enjoys helping clients save money by giving them a better understanding of their personal tax obligations.
Communication is one of Josie’s core strengths as she actively strives to make a positive impact with clients. The full range of people Mazuma works with means that Josie gets to meet an exciting spectrum of people, so no two days are ever the same.
When not at work, Josie likes to spend her time hanging out with her kids, going to gigs and live music events, drinking with friends and looooong soaks in the bath. A naturally creative person, Josie expresses herself through paintings and drawings as well as cheeky renovations of the family’s Animal Crossing island when she sneaks a go on her children’s Switch.
She may have the self-proclaimed world’s worst singing voice, but she never lets that stop her. She sang many a song when she embarked on a roadtrip to the south of France, only three months after passing her test. There she lived for a year, soaking in the culture.
Josie had aspirations of being a film/TV set dresser or a florist, but is content working as an accountant.
